Directions by Road

The Saltney Scout hut is located at the top end of Saltney high street off Chester Road, at the rear of St. Mark's Church.

From Nicholas Street

  • continue along Nicholas street (A5268) toward the roundabout.
  • Take the 3rd exit onto the Grovesnor Rd (A483).
  • heading across the Grovesnor Bridge over the River Dee.
  • At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Hough Green (A5104).
  • continue to follow the A5104 past West Minister Park.
  • at the traffic lights continue on the A5104 for 1/4 mile.
  • Take the next left onto St Marks road.
  • Destination is on the left, Car Parking outside the front and to the rear.

 

From Grovesnor Street

  • continue along Grovesnor street (A5268) toward the roundabout.
  • Take the 2nd exit onto the Grovesnor Rd (A483).
  • heading across the Grovesnor Bridge over the River Dee.
  • At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Hough Green (A5104).
  • continue to follow the A5104 past West Minister Park.
  • at the traffic lights continue on the A5104 for 1/4 mile.
  • Take the next left onto St Marks road.
  • Destination is on the left, Car Parking outside the front and to the rear.

 

From Wrexham Road

  • Continue along the A483 heading toward Chester.
  • At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Hough Green (A5104) sign posted Saltney.
  • Continue to follow the A5104 past Westminister Park.
  • At the traffic lights continue on the A5104 for 1/4 mile.
  • Take the next left onto St Marks road.
  • Destination is on the left, Car Parking outside the front and to the rear.

 

From Broughton roundabout

  • At the roundabout continue toward Chester on the A5104.
  • At the Broughton Park roundabout take the 1st exit continue on the Chester Road (A5104) sign posted Saltney.
  • Continue to follow the A5104 past two sets of Lights and under the Railway Bridge.
  • Head toward Chester for 1/4 mile and you will see St Mark's Church on your right.
  • Take the right before the Church into St Marks Road.
  • Destination is on the left, Car Parking outside the front and to the rear.
